1960s French blue linen dress suit - a really great mod design from high-end fashion house Marcel Fenez. This ensemble is from the mid to latter part of the decade and was very likely to have been designed by Roland Klein who worked for both Christian Dior and Jean Patou before going on to design under his own name. Diana, Princes of Wales, was amongst his famous clients.
Both pieces are impeccably tailored with a fabulous a-line dress that has a high boat neck and wide panelled waistband. The short-sleeve overcoat has a Peter Pan collar and fastens part-way down with three buttons that give the outfit a very flared look. In absolutely beautiful vintage condition with no issues of any note. Perfect for a formal event or Goodwood with both pieces looking great as separates. Will fit a range of sizes up to a UK 10 or US 6. We note the arm holes are slightly smaller than average on the coat.
